- "KKU63 Freshmen Welcome Activity system" means the website, web application, and digital services provided under the domains kku63.com, hellokku63.com, welcomekku63.com, together with related subdomains, operated and managed by the student organization and the system development team.
- "This document" means these Terms of Use and all content presented on the system page where these terms appear.
- "Website" or "system" means the platform, digital services, web pages, and related systems operated under the KKU63 freshmen welcome project.
- "Data controller" or "we" means the student organization and the system development team, which determine the collection, use, or disclosure of information relevant to the service.
- "User" means any person who accesses the website, uses the system, registers for activities, or contacts the team through the designated channels.
- "Personal data" means information relating to an individual that can identify that individual directly or indirectly, such as full name, email address, phone number, or activity identifier.
- "Technical and behavioral data" means information collected automatically from access to and use of the website, such as IP address, device type, cookie data, visit statistics, and usage traces on the website.

Acceptance of the terms

Use of the activity system constitutes the user's representation that the user has sufficient age and legal capacity to be bound by this document. If the user is a minor, use should occur with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
The data controller may revise or update this document from time to time as described in the section on changes to the terms. Continued use of the system after changes take effect will be treated as acceptance of the revised terms.
Eligibility and access rights
Users may use the activity system only within the scope permitted by law and by the system rules. Key conditions of use include the following.
- Users must provide personal data that is accurate, complete, and current when registering or submitting information through system forms, and should keep that information up to date.
- Access to certain features may be limited to authorized groups such as participants, staff, or administrators. The data controller reserves the right to approve, refuse, or revoke such access as appropriate.
- Users are responsible for keeping account information and authentication credentials secure and confidential, and remain responsible for activity carried out under their account.
- If a user becomes aware of or suspects unauthorized access to an account or another security issue, the user must notify the team promptly through the contact channels provided in this document.
Prohibited use
To preserve the security and suitability of the system, users must not use the activity system in a way that may cause damage or conflict with its intended purpose. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation, the following.
Violation of the prohibitions above may result in restricted, suspended, or revoked access and may also lead to further legal action where appropriate.
- Attempting to access systems, networks, or data without authorization, testing or exploiting vulnerabilities without clear permission, or attempting to bypass security or authentication measures.
- Uploading, transmitting, or publishing content that is unlawful, harmful, infringes the rights of others, defamatory, obscene, or disruptive to other users.
- Using the system to send spam, automated scripts, bots, malware, or commands that affect the performance, security, or stability of the system.
- Impersonating another person, falsifying identity, or providing false information in order to gain access, rights, or benefits from the system.
- Collecting, extracting, or using other users' personal data without authorization, including automated scraping or harvesting in violation of personal data protection laws.
- Infringing the intellectual property associated with the activity system or using the system for commercial purposes without appropriate authorization.
Content and intellectual property
Content, visual elements, project names, logos, text, code, and other intellectual property appearing on the activity system are the property of the Khon Kaen University Student Organization or the relevant rights holders and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
Users may view, use, or cite content only to the extent permitted by law and by the purpose of the activity system, and must not reproduce, adapt, distribute, publish, or use it commercially without written permission from the relevant rights holder.
All rights not expressly granted in this document remain reserved.
Trademarks, logos, and names associated with the activity system must not be used in a way that causes confusion or implies endorsement or affiliation without authorization.
Where the activity system includes third-party content, use of that content remains subject to the rights and conditions set by the relevant third party.
If a user submits, uploads, or publishes content through the activity system, the user retains ownership of that content but grants the system the right to use, store, reproduce, and publish it to the extent necessary to provide the service and fulfill the system's purpose. The user represents that they have rights to the submitted content and that it does not infringe the rights of others.
Limitation of liability
The activity system is provided on an as is and as available basis at a given time. Although the data controller aims to maintain the accuracy and continuity of the system to a reasonable standard, it cannot guarantee that the activity system will be free from errors, interruptions, delays, or incomplete information in all cases.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the data controller is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage, data loss, loss of opportunity or income, or other impacts arising from use of, or inability to use, the activity system.
Content, links, or services of third parties appearing on the activity system are outside the control of the data controller, and the data controller is therefore not liable for damage arising from use of those third-party services.
The limitations in this section do not apply to liability arising from intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Where the law does not permit exclusion or limitation of certain liability, the liability of the data controller will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Suspension or termination of use
The data controller reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the activity system or certain features if conduct presents risk to the system or violates this document. Example situations may include the following.
Any decision and action taken by the data controller under this section is final, subject to applicable law and relevant requirements.
- Use outside the intended purpose, or any conduct that creates a security risk to other users or affects the stability or infrastructure of the activity system.
- Fraudulent conduct or false information, including impersonation of another person or use that may amount to deception or fraud.
- Failure to cooperate on security matters, including ignoring or failing to comply with requests from the data controller relating to safety, legal obligations, or internal review procedures.
Changes to the terms
The data controller may revise, update, or change this document from time to time to reflect system development, internal policy, or legal requirements, following the practices below.
- The data controller will display the latest updated date at the top of this page so users can identify the current version.
- If users continue to access or use the activity system after a change takes effect, that continued use may be treated as acceptance of the revised terms.
- Users are responsible for reviewing changes to this document periodically.
Governing law
This document is to be interpreted and enforced in accordance with the applicable laws of Thailand unless a different rule is set out in a specific document or agreement. If a dispute arises in connection with use of the activity system, the parties may first attempt to resolve it in good faith before proceeding through the legal process in the relevant jurisdiction.
